Pastry chef Jutta Bach's La Joconde is a premier specialty cake company, providing the greater Portland area with the highest quality wedding and special occasion cakes since 2006.
Her signature design element is Joconde sponge, a decorative sponge cake named for the Mona Lisa – which is called "La Joconde" by the French. La Joconde offers a sophisticated culinary experience and the best and most creative wedding cake designs, which have been featured in several wedding magazines and on bridal shows in Portland.
Our first rate service begins with a complimentary consultation and tasting where wedding cake ideas get developed and translated into a colored sketch, and a wide array of flavor options can be sampled and selected. We give an exact quote, trying to stay within each client's budget, while striving to create the best cake design, ranging from simple wedding cakes to really outrageous creations. Coordination with wedding planners, caterers and florists guarantees a perfect and stress free experience – and a gorgeous cake!
